What is the effect of your workouts on a person with low cortisol levels and adrenal exhaustion?
That's a great question. Typically, I'm used to seeing high cortisol levels with adrenal exhaustion, in which case I recommend that you first introduce exercise at a slower pace and build up your capacity over time. Basically, your body will adapt to anything, especially movement oriented, when it's done in small doses over time. I'll give the general recommendations to you in a second, but it's very important to emphasize that ONLY YOUR DOCTOR can approve your exercise program with any medical implications. Generally speaking, a slow adaptation program might involve 40% max HR for the entire 10 minutes (no rest breaks, just go through the exercises), followed by 45% max HR the next week, and so on... before attempting to prioritize fat loss by alternating intensity. Instead, it's usually through hormonal regulation. Hope this helps! Wishing you the best
